A new-build 30.7 metre Ocean Alexander 100 skylounge superyacht has been sold with the American buyer introduced by Roy Prokorym and Niel Steenkamp at Alexander Marine USA.
Designed by Evan Marshall, the yacht will be built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Ocean Alexander with delivery scheduled for 2019. An interior by Mary Flores Yacht Design will host 10 guests in five cabins comprising a main deck master suite, VIP suite, double and two twins, all with entertainment centres, LED television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
The skylounge will be enclosed in glass, which protects the area from the elements while flooding it with natural light. It features a saloon with an L-shaped sofa and coffee table, plus an area for formal dining that seats eight aft. There is also an enclosed galley, forward of which is a country kitchen with room for guests to relax or enjoy casual meals.
The main deck saloon is open-plan and features a custom L-shaped settee and chairs on wooden floors, a wet bar, wine cooler, ice maker and an entertainment centre including a 60-inch LED television screen and a professional sound system.
Twin 1,920hp MTU diesel engines will allow a cruising speed of 17 knots and she will be fitted with Vector zero speed fin stabilisers.
The asking price of the Ocean Alexander 100 model was $12,000,000.
