The 30.5 metre Ferri sailing yacht Jupiter, listed for sale by Todd Rittenhouse at Northrop & Johnson, has been sold.
Jupiter was built in aluminium by Italian yard Cantieri Navali Ferri to a design by Giorgetti & Magrini and launched in 1989 with her most recent refit in 2018. Her original owner specified that she should be capable of a global circumnavigation, and she has done just that – now having travelled across every ocean of the world. Jupiter has accommodation for 10 guests in four cabins, comprising a master suite, two twins and a single cabin with a Pullman berth, and all cabins have en suite bathroom facilities. Separate quarters sleep four crewmembers aboard.
She has a contemporary interior of neutral tones and sumptuous living areas, and the saloon features a large sofa and formal dining table, plus a full entertainment system.
A large covered cockpit provides the perfect spot to dine al fresco while underway or at anchor and her large aft sun pad allows guests to enjoy hours of relaxing in the sun.
Her recent refit included new Navtec rod rigging, Stac Pac systems replaced, the genoa furler rebuilt, new generators, new batteries, an interior update and much more. A strong and powerful yacht, her 350hp Mercedes engine gives her a transatlantic range of 3,000 nautical miles under power at a comfortable speed of eight knots.
Jupiter was asking $949,000.
