The 61.3 metre expedition yacht Voyager has been listed for sale by Tomaso Polli and Jonathan Barbe at Edmiston & Company.
Built by Spanish yard Astilleros y Talleres Celaya to a design by Sparkman & Stephens. Voyager was delivered in 1973. She was purchased in the early 2000s with the purpose of transforming her into the ultimate expedition vessel for charter. Carrying a helicopter with refuelling capability plus a large array of tenders and toys, she was used for extended cruising periods from remote tropical waters to extreme Alaskan winters. Following her sale in 2008, the current owners had the interior completely redesigned in a more modern style, as well as a complete refit in 2020.
Voyager can accommodate 22 guests across 11 cabins, including a large owner's suite finished in dark mahogany located on the upper deck and the option for the sky lounge to convert to a second very elegant owner’s suite. The rest of the accommodation is spread out across the lower deck and includes two VIP cabins, four doubles, two connecting twin cabins and a convertible. There is also room for 19 crew on board.
An attractive area for guests is the aft upper deck which features a large teak dining table, seating for 14, a barbecue and a wet bar – ideal for al fresco entertaining.
Powered by twin 1,125hp D399 Caterpillar diesel engines, she has a top speed of 17 knots and cruises at 12.5 knots with an ocean-crossing range of 8,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Voyager is asking €8,500,000 with VAT paid.
