The 31.1-metre Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) motor yacht Cape Cod II has been listed for sale with Ed Dickinson of Northrop & Johnson.
Built in Italy and delivered in June 2019, Cape Cod II is one of five Darwin 102 models penned by Hydro Tec, designed for long-range cruising and "exceptional seaworthiness." She features "refreshing" interiors designed by Francesco Guida in collaboration with the CdM interior design department. Hydro Tec also completed her naval architecture.
According to her broker, "this impressive yacht combines rugged performance with luxury, making her ideal for adventure-seeking owners." She has only been used privately since her delivery, and recently underwent a five-year class survey in 2024.
Accommodation on board is for up to 11 guests across five cabins. Two VIPs and two twins are located on the lower deck while the owner’s suite with private study lies on the main deck forward: the first Darwin 102 with this layout.
All of the cabins are cohesive, decorated with a neutral colour palette and grey stone-clad en suite bathrooms. The crew quarters allow for a staff of six.
Cape Cod II has an impressive volume for a yacht of her size at 246GT, with her open-plan main saloon particularly benefitting from the 2.1-metre-high ceilings. Her interior is characterised by neutral oak veneers, stainless steel accents and high-gloss white ceilings, creating a welcoming ambience throughout. Her sky lounge is equally as atmospheric, with a bar, television and large sofas.
The feeling of space continues outside thanks to a main deck cockpit that can be enclosed and air-conditioned for dining, an upper deck formal dining area for ten, and a sizeable foredeck with sunpads. The sundeck is fitted with a custom pool with integrated bar, an open-air galley with barbecue and two dining tables.
The 31.1-metre is also home to an array of water toys, diving gear, fishing equipment and a Williams 565 tender which is deployed via a two-ton crane.
Power comes from a pair of 680hp Caterpillar engines for a top speed of 13 knots, cruising speed of 11.5 knots and range of 4,500 nautical miles at 9.5 knots. She was built to LY3 commercial compliance, making her a strong contender for charter opportunities.
