The 28.65 metre motor yacht Golden Girl, listed for sale by Whit Kirtland at Bradford Marine Yacht Sales, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in aluminium by US yard Broward Marine, she was delivered in 1986 as a raised pilothouse model and most recently refitted in 2015. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite, double and twin, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for three crew.
The open plan saloon with floor to ceiling windows is decorated in neutral tones accented with burl maple joinery to add warmth. On the port side, aft of the bar, is a glass-topped formal dining table with upholstered seating for six guests while opposite is a curved U-shaped settee in ultra-leather and a player piano. A state of the art entertainment centre features a 55-inch flat screen television and a Panasonic stereo surround sound system. Forward, the galley has a country-style kitchen with a banquette for casual snacks.
The aft deck has overhead cover from the boat deck and lends itself to al fresco dining with wicker-style cushioned armchairs, an oval teak table and aft bench seating. Upstairs, the spacious flybridge has an extra-large Bimini top providing shade and offers a wet bar, gas barbecue and an ice maker. The hinged mast allows access to height-restricted inshore cruising areas. Twin 870hp Detroit Diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 10 knots topping out at 15 knots.
Golden Girl was asking $899,000.
