The 42.95 metre motor yacht Lighea, jointly listed for sale by Burgess and Edmiston & Company, has been sold with the buyer introduced by David Legrand at Fraser and Galit Hadad at Yacht Boutique.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard FIPA Italiana to a design by Roberto Del Re, she was delivered in 2005 as the first non-GRP yacht in the yard’s Maiora range and was built to Lloyds class. A spacious interior featuring olive wood parquet flooring and fine marbles accommodates 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, two doubles and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
Always used privately by her original owner, she has been kept in excellent condition throughout her life and had a comprehensive refit in 2015. She now has a repainted hull and superstructure and boasts new zero speed stabilizers.
The main deck saloon is paneled in mahogany with ebony finishes and offers three large settees for relaxation in front of an entertainment centre including a retractable plasma television screen. Forward is the dining area, although the main dining room is on the upper deck, featuring panoramic views and seating for 18 guests.
The aft deck caters for al fresco entertaining and dining with an oval table and chairs while up on the sun deck is a small swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sun loungers, a bar and a barbecue. The foredeck has a conversation area and steps leading down to the bow. Twin 1,300hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 11 knots and a transatlantic range.
Lighea was asking €6,950,000 with VAT paid.
