Superyacht owner and fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has just added another asset to his luxury lifestyle empire with the opening of a new Cavalli Club in Puerto Banús, Spain.
Cavalli, whose 40.8 metre Baglietto RC is as famous for its celebrity Cannes parties as it is for its iridescent paintwork, has chosen an ideal location minutes from the Spanish resort’s luxury marina. Featuring a fine dining restaurant, bar and nightclub, the venue is destined to be a hit with superyacht owners looking for a night out on shore.
With a capacity of 1,000, the huge space features Cavalli’s signature interior design flair – think leopard print, velvet and plenty of gold accents – along with cocktails made using the designer’s own brand vodka and informal dining on the club’s outdoor terrace and landscaped garden. A more formal fine dining space is set to open in 2016.
Following a strictly VIP launch party on 30 May, the club has already featured live sets by up-and-coming hip hop and dance artists MK and Jeremih, attracting a cool young crowd looking for upmarket partying just outside the crowded Marbella coast. This latest venture joins four existing Cavalli Clubs in Dubai, Miami, Milan and Ibiza, so those international jet setters who like what they find can be assured they are never far away from a good party.
