With the clock ticking down to the Superyacht Design Festival (2-4 February 2025), BOAT is thrilled to announce a packed social programme to accompany the conference. Returning to the picturesque mountains of Kitzbühel, the festival promises three days of awards, inspiring talks, interviews, workshops and panels at the K3 KitzKongress conference centre, all complemented by a host of activities showcasing the best of the alpine town.
The Celebratory Cocktail
The festivities kick off on 2 February with a welcome cocktail at Mocking - Das Wirtshaus from 17:00 to 18:45, followed by the much-anticipated BOAT Design & Innovation Awards from 19:15 to 20:45 at the K3. These awards spotlight the most remarkable naval architecture, engineering, and styling achievements of superyachts delivered last year.
The Festival Social
The social programme continues on 3 February from 19:30 to 23:30 following the first day of the conference with the Festival Social at Rosi’s Sonnbergstuben, a cosy, traditional hotel nestled high on the Bichlalm mountain. With its “alpine chic” dress code, the evening will feature a three-course Austrian-inspired feast, lively entertainment and a cosy atmosphere away from the bustling tourist trails, with the party continuing until midnight.
The Ski Cup
On the festival's final day, attendees can head to the slopes after the morning conference for the much-loved Ski Cup & Après Ski Party, hosted in association with Lürssen. Held at 12:00 at the Zielhaus Red Bull restaurant, located at the base of the legendary Hahnenkamm run, the event promises adrenaline-fuelled fun and picture-perfect views.
There will be transfers from the conference to the Ski Cup at 11:30, with registration for the Ski Cup beginning at noon and the first race starting at 13:30. There will be four competitions this year during the Ski Cup:
- Women’s Giant Slalom
- Men’s Giant Slalom
- Snowboarding Giant Slalom
- Team Race (teams of three aim for the fastest combined time)

Following the races, there will be a prize-giving ceremony at 15:30 and an Après-Ski Party at 16:00.
