A new 30.1-metre Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck models has been sold by Brock Rodwell of Ray White Marine to an owner in the Asia-Pacific – the first of this model to be sold in the region..
Built of GRP by Italian yard Ferretti Yachts, the sale of the yacht was confirmed over the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. Delivery is scheduled for late 2023.
The "semi-enclosed" five-cabin layout accommodates a party of ten guests. Four equally-proportioned doubles are located on the lower deck while the master is positioned forward of the galley on the main deck, the galley being forward of the open plan saloon and dining area. There are quarters for up to five crew in three cabins.
The flybridge terrace, sporting a sit-up bar, offers ample space aft for lounging around out in the sun, which extends into the indoor lounge where guests can enjoy a film on the TV. Opening slats in the deckhead allow natural ventilation, along with reverse-cycle air-conditioning and heating. Meanwhile, full-height sliding glass doors open up this fully-glazed upper deck lounge, creating a perfect party space.
There are sunpads forward of the wheelhouse and a built in seating area with tables further forward on the foredeck. Additional seating is found on the aft deck, while a large swim platform makes for easy boarding of tender and toys that emerge from the garage through a transom hatch. Four aft-facing reclining sunpads can be lined up here too, perfect for tanning or keeping an eye on children swimming off the vessel.
The yacht is powered by the upgraded option of twin 2,638hp MTU 16V diesel engines. The broker said that “the new Skydeck project caters perfectly for our clients in Australia and the South Pacific that want long range voyages in all conditions."
Asking price is upon application.
