Moonen Yachts signs exclusive global sales agreement with IYC

18 September 2024 • by Gabrielle Lazaridis

Dutch yard Moonen Yachts has signed an exclusive dealership agreement with leading brokerage firm IYC, designed to enhance its sales efforts in key global markets.

IYC's UK head of sales, Richard Gray, and managing partner in California, Matthew Stone, will oversee all sales and promotional efforts for Moonen Yachts with support from the firm's broader network of yacht brokers.

Matthew and Louise Baxter, the owners of Moonen Yachts, highlighted IYC's international presence, experience and knowledge within the superyacht sector and understanding of the Moonen Yachts brand as factors underpinning the partnership. The pair stated: "As a Dutch builder of extremely high quality semi-custom steel hulled yachts with global navigational capacity, it’s important for Moonen Yachts to be strongly represented in key global markets to reach discerning customers that understand the value, comfort, safety and lifestyle that a Moonen yacht provides."

According to Gray, IYC's focus will be to ensure that both clients and brokers receive exceptional support throughout every stage of their experience with Moonen Yachts. "We are honoured to be part of this journey and look forward to supporting Matthew and Louise Baxter’s vision of propelling the shipyard into the future," he said.

The announcement comes during a busy year for Moonen Yachts, which recently delivered the sixth unit in its 36.3-metre Martinique series, Moonshine, as well as the 37.4-metre Lumière, with another two projects in build, according to BOATPro.
