Italian shipyard Tureddi has released two new models known as the Hyper 50 and Ultra 40. Measuring 50 metres and 40 metres respectively, the new designs are exclusively available for sale with Dome Yachts.
The Hyper 50 is the larger of the two at 50 metres LOA and would be built entirely in aluminium, with smooth, automotive lines by Italian architect Antonio Bicchierri. Other key specs include a 9.3-metre beam, a draft of 2.4 metres and a maximum speed of approximately 20 knots at half load.
Renderings reveal a suite of leisure facilities, including an unfolding balcony that sit on the water's edge, dedicated lounge areas on the main and upper deck and two dip pools. The first pool can be found on the sundeck, fronted by sunpads, while the other is positioned on the bow and complemented by sofa seating and a coffee table.
Interiors, meanwhile, focus on "clarity" and "removing bulk", which has resulted in a layout furnished primarily with freestanding furniture. An apt example is the beach club which features modular gym elements and sofa seating. The pared-back, minimalist aesthetic is complemented by a monochromatic colour palette that leans into light woods and white upholstery. Accommodation is for up to 13 guests across six cabins, with further quarters for 10 crew.
Another all-aluminium build, the Ultra 40 retains the automotive detailing (including the hexagonal bulwark "frits") seen on Tureddi's larger offering. These bulwarks can unfold and combine with a large swim platform to create a flexible, spacious outdoor area.
The aft deck itself is designed with a dip pool, sunpads and modular furniture, with guests able to directly access the main saloon and formal dining area through floor-to-ceiling glass doors.
Other highlights include a sundeck Jacuzzi and dining space and a main deck master with his and hers en suite, positioned towards the bow for far-flung ocean views. Accommodation is also across six cabins, though one of the cabins can be converted into a gym, study or intimate lounge area, depending on the owner's wishes.
The Ultra 40 would be powered by twin CAT C32 engines for a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 15 knots.
