Tribale Yachts' 50m flagship explorer to begin construction this year

12 March 2024 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Italian shipyard Tribale Yachts has revealed details on its new flagship project, the Tribale 165. Construction will begin in 2024, with the 50.2-metre explorer scheduled to be launched "by the end of 2026".

The Pisa-based shipyard is awaiting the completion of a larger shed before starting works, which is planned for summer 2024.

The yacht has a volume of 495GT and a 9.3-metre beam

"Tribale Yachts is a young brand, of course, but the facilities in Pisa Navicelli are growing fast, with three sheds already in operation," explained the shipyard's commercial director, Giovanni Sorrentino.

Accommodation is across six cabins, including two owner's cabins on the upper and main deck. The main deck cabin is arranged with a dedicated office and a walk-in wardrobe, while the upper deck cabin will feature a smaller office, library with reading nook and a lounge with television. The latter also benefits from direct access to the al fresco dining area on the main deck aft.

Guest accommodation is found on the lower deck alongside a "playroom" with games table, television with gaming console and sofa bed. The beach club is adjacent and comes with gym equipment and a sauna. Meanwhile, the sundeck will function as the main convivial area – designed with a wet bar, dip pool flanked by sunpads and sofa seating.

A tender and two Jet Skis can be stored in the bow

Powered by twin CAT C32 engines, the Tribale 165 is expected to reach a maximum speed of 13 knots.

The largest production yacht currently under construction at the shipyard is the 28.9-metre crossover yacht, Tribale 95.
