The third hull in the Sanlorenzo SX88 series of 26.76 metre motor yachts has been launched in Ameglia, the Italian yard has announced.
First presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017, this new crossover range made its American debut last month at the Miami Yacht Show 2018 where hull number two was displayed.
Due for delivery before the end of the month, the third SX88 features a four-cabin layout, offering accommodation for up to eight guests split across a master suite on the main deck and three further cabins below decks. What’s more, the lower deck galley frees up more space for socialising in the open-plan saloon.
The interior décor has been customised to suit the owner’s tastes, with dark painted Tanganyika listels on all of the interior walls marking the transition between the key areas on board. Meanwhile, the custom interior furnishings were developed in collaboration with leading Italian brands and adapted to suit the demands of life at sea.
Power comes from a triple 800hp Volvo Penta IPS1050 set-up that allows for a top speed of 23 knots out on the open water.
Ten further hulls of the SX88 are currently under construction, the Italian yard adds, and the SX range is set to expand with a 24 metre and a 30 metre version on the drawing board.
