The second hull in the Sanlorenzo SL78 series has been delivered to the USA with some notable customisations.
Named the Sag Harbor edition, this 24.59 metre motor yacht features an electro-hydraulic folding mast that allows it to pass under the low bridge of the eponymous marina.
Styled inside and out by Officina Italiana Design, the Sanlorenzo SL78 features all-GRP construction and a fast planing hull, with the naval architecture carried out in-house.
Accommodation is for eight guests split between four cabins, including an owner’s cabin, VIP and two twin rooms. Large floor to ceiling windows in the lounge area combine with lowered bulwarks to provide unobstructed views out to sea.
The sophisticated modern interiors were fitted out with high-end items from the likes of Minotti, RH Modern, Flos, Zucchetti, and Roda. Key materials include Italian leather, embroidered linens and cashmere, while the formal dining area features a stone table surrounded by Poltrana Frau chairs.
Other notable features include an open-plan saloon and an internal floating staircase, surrounded by glass panels, that leads up to the spacious superyacht sundeck.
Al fresco relaxation options are plentiful, including a foredeck seating area that comes complete with a table, sunpads and a Bimini shade.
Power comes from a pair of 1,520hp MTU diesel engines, which should ensure sporty performance out on the open water.
Launched at the 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival, the Sanlorenzo SL78 has proven to be a highly popular entry-level series — the Italian yard plans to launch eight hulls this year alone.
