Riva’s third 50 Metri model has splashed at the shipyard in Ancona, with the owner — an existing Riva client — in attendance at the launch ceremony.
The Riva 50 Metri model is the result of collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, Ferretti Group’s strategic product committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
Taking inspiration from the previous Caravelle and Atlantic series, the 50-metre steel and aluminum build has a design that combines Riva’s classic DNA with modern technology. Her exterior features mahogany, steel and glass with a metallic silver hull incorporating three horizontal straight and simple lines which define each deck.
The interiors showcase refined décor inspired by Riva’s brand, comprising polished steel, a grey colour palette and mahogany. For guests to take advantage of ocean settings, the interior and exterior blend throughout, including areas for dining, socialising and entertaining.
Spread across five decks and making the most of a 9-metre beam, the Riva 50 Metri features accommodation for a total of 10 guests and further space for nine crew members. Other features include a Jacuzzi housed on the 120-square-metre sundeck alongside sunbathing areas, a barbecue area and a pop-up TV entertainment space.
This launch follows the delivery of the second Riva 50 Metri Fifty in September 2021 which is now on the market. Riva’s new flagship, 54 Metri, is currently in-build at their facility and is scheduled for delivery in 2025.
