Admiral, a brand of The Italian Sea Group, has announced a construction milestone for its 100-metre hybrid superyacht project. The build, known as Hull 597 (previously Project Titanium), has now progressed to outfitting at the yard's facility in Marina di Carrara, Italy. Delivery is scheduled for 2026.
The largest yacht currently under construction in Italy, Hull 597 has British studio Winch Design behind both its exterior and interiors. Details are scarce, though the build is characterised by its diesel-electric propulsion and an extensive use of glasswork, including a broad, oval pane intersecting the hull and superstructure.
The shipyard also divulged amenities such as a certified helicopter landing pad, a "huge" swimming pool, spa and a multi-deck saloon. Director of yachts and aviation at Winch Design, Jim Dixon, described the yacht as "incredibly dynamic" and promised it "will be a landmark for the industry".
Giovanni Costantino, TISG founder and CEO, added: "We are satisfied with the progress of this yacht's production, the largest under construction in Italy, and the collaboration with prestigious international partners such as Magnitude Yachts and Winch Design, with whom a strong professional synergy has been established, ensuring an excellent result.”
The superyacht will be equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system powered by Azipods.
According to BOATPro, Hull 597 is one of 11 Admiral projects currently in build, which also includes the 82-metre Project Skyfall and 77-metre Project Blue Marlin – both with deliveries scheduled for 2025.
