Polish studio Opalinski Design House has unveiled a 49.9-metre superyacht concept with a "patented" rotational transom. The design has small electric motors that extend the swim platform and beach club laterally, creating additional "wings" for sunlounging.
"After speaking with several brokers I was told that there is a large demand on the market for a custom 50-metre that sits below 500GT," explained designer and founder Lukasz Opalinski. "Based on these recommendations, I have created this brand new concept – a low profile, fast cruiser with our original rotational transom, as well as several other innovative features."
A pinched bow, angled superstructure and grille overhang create a trim and sporty profile in spite of the yacht's generous LOA. Renderings reveal a dip pool and sunbathing area on the bow, a sheltered sundeck and fixed sunpads overlooking the beach club.
Accommodation would be across six guest cabins, including a master suite located aft of the bridge deck and comprising a cabin, en suite, walk in closet and private deck.
The yacht would have a cruising speed of 16 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
Other key specs include a nine-metre beam and draft of 2.2 metres.
