Officina Armare has revealed an 85-metre concept known as Project Armand.
The superyacht's low-profile exterior is inspired by automobiles, with onboard highlights that include a virtual-reality main saloon, an outdoor cinema and a dedicated "man cave" on the lower deck.
Accommodation is for 18 guests and 21 crew, not including the two-story owner's penthouse situated on the bridge deck and sundeck. The owner's cabin comes with its own "intimate lounge" complete with a wine cellar and smoking room, plus an outdoor deck with an al fresco lounge and a Jacuzzi. There is also a full-beam VIP cabin on the forward main deck.
The main saloon is where Project Armand's "groundbreaking innovations" come into play. Designed with a glass concave structure integrated with LED screens, the yacht can create a "180-degree virtual environment [...] for hosting extravagant parties, observing the Serengeti in the middle of the ocean or simply watching a Grand Prix race." The main deck also houses a glass-bottomed infinity pool with ampitheatre-inspired sunbathing areas, while the upper deck features an outdoor dining area.
Project Armand's "man cave" comprises a lounge, dedicated diving station and floating garage which has storage for a U-Boat Worx submersible, alongside a selection of custom toys and a tender. There is also an extendable helipad on the bow, which can be converted into an outdoor cinema thanks to the "largest hidden outdoor C SEED TV in the world" (measuring 5.1 metres).
The superyacht will also be equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system, which includes both fossil and non-fossil fuel technology.
Officina Armare last shared Espada with BOAT International, a 40-metre superyacht concept designed to capture "the essence of a personal island".
