Building on the success of its 28-metre Explorer and 30-metre Revolution models, Ocean Alexander debuted its latest creation, the 32E, at the Miami International Boat Show last week.
The Taiwanese shipyard partnered with long-time collaborator Evan K. Marshall to fashion a yacht that maximises the space on board while preserving Ocean Alexander's signature look and appeal. The resulting 31.2-metre explorer is tailored for extended voyages in comfort.
There are currently four units under construction with two nearing delivery.
Natural light and a connection to the surrounding seascape are central to the design and achieved through the extensive use of glass on board. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide sweeping views of exotic locales while bathing the interior with natural light.
The yacht's interior, also by Marshall, features an open-plan living space with custom-designed furniture fitted for a variety of owner preferences. The main deck houses a comfortable lounge area, dining for up to ten guests and a fully-equipped galley. Elsewhere, the skylounge offers an outdoor Jacuzzi with large sun pads on either side and a full wet bar under a protective hardtop.
Accommodation is offered for up to eight guests in five cabins, comprising a full-beam master situated forward on the main deck and the remaining two VIP suites and two guest staterooms on the lower deck.
The 32E is powered by a single MAN V12 1900hp engine, capable of reaching a top speed of 21 knots with a cruising speed of 18 knots.
