Fledgling design studio Kyron Design has revealed its first superyacht design; the 70 metre expedition yacht Nzuri.
With “soft yet strong” exterior lines and a “futuristic” design, Nzuri features a steel hull and partial fibreglass superstructure.
The yacht is intended for navigation in remote areas, from the polar regions to the Galapagos Islands, and features a fully equipped exploration equipment room. The yacht would have an estimated maximum speed of 22 knots and range of 4,000 nautical miles if built.
The main deck is large enough to store two Audio Quattro AI vehicles and features a bar and plenty of space for entertaining.
Inside the “opulent” interior, the circular lounge is described as the “heart” of the yacht with far-reaching ocean views, classical décor and custom furniture. The versatile area is capable of transforming from a daytime seating area to a nighttime dining room.
Elsewhere, Nzuri features accommodation for a total of 20 guests in 10 cabins, as well as a dedicated crew quarters.
The owner’s suite sits at the tip of the bow of the dedicated owner’s deck and includes a bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, bathtub and sauna room.
The large swimming pool, which transforms into a helipad, also sits on the owner’s deck. The sun deck above meanwhile is equipped with a Jacuzzi and open views perfect for star gazing.
The large beach club aft is equipped with a second bar, day beds and retractable decks.
