NDR reports the yard was struggling to overcome “critical developments” in yacht construction, citing the coronavirus pandemic for exacerbating financial difficulties.

Owned by international shipbuilding group Privinvest, Nobiskrug was founded in 1905 and has produced standout superyachts including the 80 metre hybrid motor yacht Artefact, 92.42 metre Tatoosh and world-famous Sailing Yacht A.
