Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced the sale of another Flexplorer 165 model. This marks the third unit to be sold this year, bringing the total number of Flexplorer 165 models on order, under construction or on the water to nine, according to BOATPro.
Measuring 50.3 metres, the Flexplorer 165 is the shipyard's largest explorer to date with the first hull, Maverick, delivered this year. This unit was commissioned by a North American owner and sold in collaboration with Chris Holtzheuser of Allied Marine.
An avid fisher, the buyer has requested the yacht be equipped with three tenders, including a Freedom Dual Console tender by Grady-White. The model's A-frame crane capacity has been increased to 4.5 tons as a result.
The unit also benefits from a flexible layout "designed for a large family". The sky lounge can be converted into an additional cabin, while a space on the lower deck can be configured as a private lounge or as an additional guest cabin. Interior design is owed to Giorgio M. Cassetta – though full details are yet to be disclosed.

Propelled by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, the yacht is expected to reach a maximum speed of 15 knots and a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. Other key numbers include a volume of 500GT, a nine-metre beam and a draft of 2.3 metres.
