ISA Yachts has revealed a new 40-metre superyacht known as the ISA Unica 40.
Designed in collaboration with Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design and Palumbo Superyachts, the 390GT model has been christened after its market position as a "unique specimen".
"Based on the analysis of what the current market has to offer in terms of innovation, design, functional solutions and volume optimisation, this project was developed to create its own unique trends," said a spokesperson for ISA Yachts.
Built in aluminium, the yacht is semi-displacement and benefits from "highly functional spaces", seen best in the elongated exterior decks and the focus on floor-to-ceiling glazing.
Another distinctive feature of the project is the large bow surface on the upper deck, which features a sunbathing area and an "entertainment space".
Accommodation includes four double cabins below deck and a main deck "owner's area". The latter encompasses an office, a lounge with vanity, a double walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom. There is also a sliding door to separate the bed from the living space.
The stern is distributed over three levels and includes a sunbathing area, a swimming pool and an infinity cockpit, where the glass balustrade allows for uninterrupted ocean views. There are two dining areas – a formal offering on the main deck and an al fresco option on the upper deck cockpit, with both decks also equipped with living and relaxation spaces.
Measuring 16 metres in length, the fly deck is arranged with two sunbathing areas (one at the stern and one at the bow), a lounge with sofa and armchairs, a bar with stools and a round Jacuzzi.
Powered by twin MTU engines, ISA Unica 40 can reach a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The range is set at 3,300 nautical miles at a speed of 14.5 knots.
