Cantiere delle Marche's first 40 metre RJ 130 explorer superyacht, named RJ, has been delivered to its owner and departed on its maiden voyage to the Mediterranean.
It comes after the steel and aluminium yacht, which is the first of the yard's RJ range, first hit the water in January 2021 in Italy. Designed inside and out by Francesco Paszkowski, RJ features naval architecture by Hydro Tec.
The yacht is described as a “luxury explorer” with accommodation for 12 guests in five suites and seven crew in four cabins. Key exterior details include an “elegantly austere silhouette” bearing the “unmistakable signature” of Paszkowski, the yard said.
Power comes from twin MTU 10V2000M72 engines for a top speed of 14.5 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles at a speed of nine knots.
CdM co-founder and sales and marketing director, Vasco Buonpensiere previously described the RJ range as, "definitely a game-changer for CdM.
“With three sales and five interior designs commissioned to Francesco Paszkowski, the cooperation with multi-awarded designer has already proven to be the right choice.”
Two other yachts in CdM’s RJ range, the RJ115-28 and RJ115-29, have been sold and are currently under construction at the yard’s Ancona based facility.
