Feadship launches 99m superyacht hull 1004, project Dream

7 February 2013 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

Feadship launched their new flagship this morning in Makkum. Currently known under the project name Dream (hull number 1004), this beautiful yacht has a length of 99 metres.

The Feadship 1004 is the largest Feadship ever launched, and also the largest superyacht launched in the Netherlands to date. No less than four years of work were necessary to build her.

Andrew Winch is responsible for her exceptional design and her naval architecture is by De Voogt. With perfect proportions, it's hard to imagine that her gross tonnage exceeds 2900 GRT.

The interior, also designed by Andrew Winch, accommodates twelve guests in six cabins. The crew quarters are composed of 18 cabins for 36 members.

This twin screw superyacht is powered by quadruple 3,600kW MTU engines giving a top speed of 24 knots and a transatlantic range.

Special features include dedicated areas forward: two garages for 11m tenders and a certified helicopter storage system.

The yacht is currently being towed to Amsterdam where she will be completed. Dream will be delivered this spring after the usual sea trials.
