Australian yard Echo Yachts has teamed up with superyacht designer Sam Sorgiovanni to present a new range of customisable superyachts and explorers ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show.
It comes just days after the yard announced a new series of active-foiling trimaran sports yachts penned by One2Three Naval Architects.
The new range of customisable monohull superyachts will range from 60 – 90 metres. The yard has initially revealed details on a steel hulled 70 metre model named EY70.
Key exterior features include contemporary styling, a touch and go helipad on the foredeck and a “resort style” swimming pool area at the stern.
The four deck yacht will feature a long range cruising capability paired with luxury living spaces and a customisable interior that can be “designed to every owner’s highest expectation and needs”.
Sorgiovanni explained that the aim behind the concept was “to create a yacht that would provide a versatile platform with spacious accommodation, functionality and flexibility over four decks.”
He described the exterior styling as “restrained and timeless”, with a “bold profile” and “contrasting elements of glass and paint”.
“The result is a design that can be customised and personalised to a client’s exacting requirements and taste. The interior design can be designed to every owner’s highest expectation and needs,” he added.
