Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has started self-financed construction on its new Columbus Atlantique 37 vessel at the Savona shipyard. The new superyacht is the second hull in the series and is scheduled for delivery in 2027.
Built entirely of aluminum, the yacht's exterior and interior are designed by Italian design studio Hot Lab while the naval engineering is by the Italian shipyard. The external lines are described as "clean and elegant, with a touch of sportiness", while the hull is reminiscent of traditional sailing yachts.
Stepping inside, the compact 299GT interior configuration comprises four double cabins on the lower deck and a master cabin at the bow of the main deck, complete with a fixed terrace, double-sink bathroom, large central shower and walk-in closet.
The yacht features two dining areas, one al fresco on the main deck and one on the upper deck. Up top, the dining area seats up to 10 people with large rounded windows that can be adjusted via sliding movement to encourage contact with the sea.
Further onboard highlights include the panoramic pool on the stern, just 50cm above sea level. The garage, which houses both a five-metre tender and the rescue boat, is located to starboard.
Thanks to a pair of MAN 2000hp engines, the semi-planing hull can reach a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots.
The shipyard commented: "The Atlantique line proves to be attractive to the market – so much so that this is the fifth unit that Columbus Yachts puts into production."
The first unit was sold in February this year and is also under construction with delivery expected in 2025. The two units will join the Columbus Crossover 42 already in production at Palumbo Superyachts Savona.
