Captain Mark Howard, who is famous for starring as the captain in Below Deck: Mediterranean, has died at the age of 65. The cause of his death is currently unknown.
The news was confirmed in a statement by Bravo: “Our thoughts and sincerest sympathies are with the family and friends of the respected Captain Mark Howard.

His Below Deck co-stars have also paid tribute to the well-liked captain on social media.
Chief stewardess Hannah Ferrier said: “Rest in peace my friend. You were a great captain, friend, and colleague. Always the gentleman, you will be missed.”
Tiffany Jones said: “RIP Captain Mark Howard. You were a joy to be around.”
During Below Deck: Mediterranean Captain Howard took the helm of 45.73 metre Christensen Ionian Princess. He had more than 30 years’ experience as a superyacht captain and had captained both private and charter yachts in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and South Pacific.
