Italian builder Amer Yachts has launched the second hull in its Amer F100 series.
The launch took place at the Permare Group shipyard in Liguria, Italy, on December 11 2019. The date of the launch was significant as it also the day on which the yacht’s new owner celebrates their birthday.
The Amer F100 model is dedicated to Amer founder Fernando Amerio and measures in at 29.6 metres in length. She has considerably more space on board than the previous Amer Quad models and has reached a top speed of 30.2 knots under testing.
Designed specifically for chartering, the Amer F100 boasts increased manoeuvrability and decreased noise and fuel consumption during cruising. The triple-deck yacht features a distinctive grey hull and also carries on-board amenities including a sundeck and alfresco dining spaces.
Another two Amer F100 hulls are currently under construction at the Permare yard and are said to feature twin Volvo Penta IPS engines. Construction on these two hulls is expected to be completed by 2020.
