Dearsan Shipyard announces 50m in build superyacht Queen Yaz

24 January 2025 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Turkish builder Dearsan Shipyard has announced a 50-metre project known as Queen Yaz. The superyacht is scheduled for delivery in 2026, with her steel hull and aluminium superstructure already completed.

Red Yacht Design, a studio based in Istanbul and London, is responsible for her exterior and "modern, cozy" interiors. Queen Yaz is tailored for "outdoor living enthusiasts", meaning the sundeck is configured as the main social space with a Jacuzzi, sunbeds, lounge sofas, bar and dining area. Two more intimate lounge spaces can be found on the bow and the main deck aft.

Another major "hub" is the swim platform, arranged with a long, U-shaped sofa, sunloungers and unfolding bulwarks that can accommodate additional seating.

"At Dearsan Shipyard, we take immense pride in building yachts that embody innovation and artistry. Queen Yaz is a testament to our team’s passion and expertise, and we are delighted to collaborate with Red Yacht Design & Milimetriq to bring this exceptional yacht to life," said CEO Murat Gordi.

“Designing Queen Yaz has been an incredible journey. We aimed to create a yacht that embodies sophistication while providing ultimate comfort for her guests," added Fatih Sürekli, managing director of Red Yacht Design. "The collaboration with Dearsan Shipyard and Milimetriq has been seamless, ensuring every detail aligns with our vision."

According to BOATPro, Red Yacht Design is the studio behind eight superyachts currently under construction. The largest is Queen Yaz, while the second-largest is the 40-metre Hiu, also scheduled for delivery in 2026.
