The 50 metre motor yacht Vango, listed for sale by Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford at Northrop & Johnson, is sold with Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection introducing the buyer.
Built in GRP by US superyacht yard Westport to ABS class and MCA compliant, Vango was launched in 2006 as the first in the yard’s 164 series. A custom Donald Starkey interior is in mahogany wood and rich, upholstered fabric panels.
She accommodates 12 guests in five cabins plus 12 crew members. The VIP suite is on the bridge deck while the master suite and two large saloons are on the main deck. Below, there are a further three cabins, a double and two twins, and all have entertainment systems and full en suite bathroom facilities.
On deck, Vango has two al fresco dining spaces, as well as a sundeck with a hard top, Jacuzzi and wet bar — an excellent space for entertaining.
Other features include a helicopter deck and an elevator, while twin 3,650hp MTU engines give her a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Reportedly, the name Vango comes from the seller’s keen admiration for Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh.
Vango was asking $19,950,000.
