The 25 metre sportfish motor yacht Rumbera, listed for sale by Jeff Creary at HMY Yachts, has been sold with Ryan Woods at Woods & Associates representing the buyer.
Built in GRP by US yard Sea Force IX to a design by Ron Rookstool, Rumbera was delivered in 2009 to the family behind Bacardi rum, which may go some way towards explaining her unusual name. A light and bright interior with English sycamore wood joinery accommodates six guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite and a twin cabin, all with entertainment centres, Samsung LCD television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities.
The well-appointed saloon has an L-shaped settee to port in front of a large coffee table and facing an entertainment centre to starboard including a 40-inch Samsung LCD television screen and a Denon stereo surround sound system. Forward is the galley designed for entertainment and dining, as well as food preparation. Here guests can relax at a dining table for formal or casual meals while enjoying the show on a 19-inch Samsung wide screen television mounted on the bulkhead.
Up on the enclosed flybridge is a Crown helm seat in front of a full set of electronic and navigation equipment, plus an L-shaped settee and dining table opposite an entertainment centre featuring a 40-inch Samsung television screen and a Denon stereo surround sound system
The cockpit is where the real fishing action takes place and offers a custom fighting chair, bait boxes, freezers and a barbecue grill. Twin 2,400hp MTU diesel engines give her a range of 3,000 nautical miles and she was fitted with Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers in summer 2016.
Rumbera was asking $5,295,000.
