The 29.2-metre converted tug boat Santandrea has joined the market with David Legrand of Fraser, who describes her as having a "proven track record of ocean passages to extreme destinations" while also combining "rugged functionality with luxury".
Built of steel by Italian yard Solimano in 1961, she was refitted in 1997 then more extensively in 2005, when her teak main decks were replaced, and is now being marketed as an oceanic explorer.
Santandrea accommodates nine guests in four cabins, including a twin-bedded master suite on the main deck. Guest cabins comprise two bunk-bed cabins and a larger midship twin with a Pullman berth. There are quarters for a crew of four in four cabins.
Her saloon boasts a bar, L-shaped sofa and a convertible dining area. Decks are expansive and offer secluded spaces for relaxation as well as a long covered aft deck, ideal for outdoor dining or entertaining.
The 170GT yacht for sale has a cruising speed of 9.5 knots and maximum speed of 12 knots under its 1,593hp Caterpillar diesel. A tender is stowed on the upper deck when underway.
Santandrea is asking €1,200,000, with VAT Paid and will be available for viewings in Monaco.
