Michael Mahan at Worth Avenue Yachts sends word that he's taken over the central agency for sale of the 58.5m motor yacht Islander with a price reduction of $3.15 million.

Islander was delivered by Australian Yacht Builders in 1991 to a design by Glade Johnson. She was originally built as an ABS classed motorsailer, but in 2010 had a complete internal and external refit which saw her masts and keel removed to convert her into a motor yacht.

Features of this superyacht now include a swimming pool, two cars, a sportfisher, a gymnasium and a lift. She can sleep up to 13 guests in a master suite, three double staterooms and a twin cabin, along with three Pullman berths.

Islander offers a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, with a top speed of 15 knots. Power comes from two 2330hp MTU diesel engines.

Now down from $16 million to $12.85 million, Islander is located in New Jersey, USA.
