The 28.4 metre motor yacht Poseidon, listed for sale by Jeroen van der Vliet at Van der Vliet Quality Yachting, has been sold with Neal Esterly at Fraser Yachts introducing the buyer.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Moonen to a design by Vripack and Lloyds classed, she was delivered in 2003 as a Moonen 92 Global Explorer. Comfortable accommodation is for six guests in a master suite, double and twin, all with television sets, entertainment centres and marble en suite bathroom facilities.
The spacious teak panelled saloon has plenty of room for entertaining with loose chairs, a couch and sofa, along with a wine cooler and a large television on an electronic rise and fall system. Double doors open out to the aft deck with a teak table and chairs for al fresco dining and this area also offers access to the fishing cockpit and sun deck. The flybridge has a large observation seat and has additional seating around an electrical height-adjustable table, a bar including a sink and fridge and the area is shaded by a custom hard top added in 2004. An added attraction is a modern sound and lighting system, enticing guests to dance away the evenings under the stars.
The sun deck comes with a table, chairs and an electric grill while the fishing cockpit has a fighting chair, sink and washdown facilities. Twin 385hp Caterpillar engines give her a range of 7,000 nautical miles at 9.5 knots.
Broker Jeroen van der Vliet commented: “Her excellent seakeeping abilities, fuel efficiency and economy, coupled with her transatlantic range, will enable around-the-world cruising in comfort and style.”
Poseidon was asking €3,375,000.
