The 33 metre motor yacht Marbella, listed for sale by Sean Doyle at Northrop & Johnson and Merle Wood & Associates, has been sold with Rick Obey & Associates introducing the buyer.
Built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Monte Fino, she was delivered in 1996 and has had several refits since, most notably in 2013 when she had a full repaint from waterline to masthead and all the teak decks were replaced. The interior by Karen Lynn features paneling in Brazilian mahogany with burl accents and she accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a large open-plan master suite with a king sized bed, a VIP suite forward with a king sized bed and two identical doubles with queen sized beds, all with en-suite bathroom facilities.
The full beam saloon has floor to ceiling windows, comfortable seating, a bar and an entertainment centre including a large television screen, while the formal dining area is forward. More casual al fresco dining is available on the aft deck equipped with a full service bar and upholstered seating for eight guests. Port and starboard staircases lead up to the huge sundeck where guests can enjoy a cocktail at the large crescent shaped wet bar or take the opportunity to dine near the barbecue under the stars.
For sun worshippers keen to relax in complete privacy, there is a Jacuzzi and sun pads forward on the bow. Twin MAN D2842 LZE diesel engines give her a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots.
Marbella was asking $1,950,000.
