The 28.72 metre motor yacht Dopamine, listed for sale by Alex Clarke at Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Tony Lazzara of HMY Yacht Sales.
Built in GRP by Italian yard Overmarine to an in-house design, Dopamine was delivered in 2018 as the fifth hull in the yard’s Mangusta 94 series and has only 255 hours on her engines. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and twin, all with entertainment centres, Samsung television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
The owner had recently made a number of improvements, including the addition of a custom Jacuzzi on the aft deck, an upgraded audio visual system by Visual Acoustics, reconfiguration of upper sundeck seating, all new exterior cushions, and a three year extended engine warranty added.
Natural light has been given primary importance and streams in through the single glazing on the main deck and the huge windows in the lower deck saloon and owner’s suite.
Al fresco relaxation options include a compact sun deck and a spacious aft deck, complete with sun pads and an adjacent dinette and bar. The Rolls-Royce KaMeWa waterjet propulsion system, which keeps the draft down to just 1.6 metres, is a key part of this model’s popularity in the USA, allowing owners to navigate shallow bays and remote anchorages.
Her top speed is 38 knots and her power comes from two 2,600hp MTU 16V2000M96L diesel engines. For comfort at sea and in port, she is fitted with Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers.
Lying in Miami Beach, Florida,Dopamine was asking $6,500,000.
