The 26.85 metre sailing yacht Sunbeam A, listed for sale by Jeroen van der Vliet at Van der Vliet Quality Yachts, has seen a price reduction of €205,000.
Built in steel by Dutch yard Jongert to a design by Willem De Vries Lentsch, Sunbeam A was delivered in 1979 as a 25DS ketch. Accommodation in an interior designed by Peter Sijm is for six guests in three cabins, all with en suite shower facilities, while a further two cabins sleep four crew aboard this yacht for sale.
Her deck layout is suited for both a serious sailor and a relaxed cruiser, with enough space to walk about comfortably, sunbathe and relax at the well protected seating areas behind the wheelhouse. The wheelhouse offers a settee and observation seat with great visibility while the lower saloon comes with a large dining table and a bar with fridge.
Outside, the large aft cockpit has ample room for up to six guests to dine al fresco. She also features a retractable cockpit roof, interior and exterior helm stations with excellent visibility and Stoway Rondal in-mast furling. In addition, her patented Jongert folding keel gives her access to all those romantic but shallow anchorages.
Under power, her top speed is 9 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles at 8 knots with power coming from a 320hp MAN diesel engine.
Lying in Spain, Sunbeam A is now asking €1,095,000 with VAT paid.
