The 24 metre motor yacht Mokonzi, listed for sale by Yacht Marine, has been sold in-house with Eliad Hagiladi acting for the buyer and seller.
Designed by Pekka Koskenkyla, Mokonzi was built in GRP by Thailand yard Concorde Yachts to DNV class and delivered in 1997 as a Lotus 80 model. She immediately proved her capabilities by making the exacting 7,000 nautical mile journey from Thailand to her new owner in the Mediterranean on her own bottom. Decorated in typical Thai style using traditional teak wood and materials, she accommodates up to 10 guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, two VIP suites and a twin, all with entertainment centres and en-suite shower facilities.
Styled as a trawler yacht with a classic canoe stern, her air-conditioned interior has a large open plan saloon with comfortable furniture, a bar and an entertainment centre including a large screen television along with a dining table seating eight guests.
A sheltered aft deck offers full amenities for outdoor relaxation and dining, while the flybridge comes with a helm station, built-in seating, dining facilities, bar and sun pads, all sheltered from the fierce Mediterranean sun when necessary by a folding Bimini top.
Twin 400hp Lugger diesel engines give her a cruising speed of nine knots and she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
Mokonzi was asking €990,000.
