The 24 metre sailing yacht Heartbeat has been sold by Bart de Ven at Bart de Ven International Yacht Brokerage, with the buyer introduced by Hoek Brokerage.
Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Claasen to a design by Hoek Design Naval Architects, Heartbeat was delivered in 2007 as a Truly Classic 78 model and has had a series of refits since, keeping her in as-new condition.
A regular visitor to the Royal Huisman yard, she has had three refits carried out at the yard in the past ten years. A series of technical updates have helped keep her in regatta-winning condition, as evidenced by Heartbeat winning her class at the 2013 and 2014 Superyacht Cup Palma.
Changes made at Huisman included the two forward guest cabins being converted into a single owner’s cabin while the owner’s cabin aft is now a VIP suite. Then there is a third cabin with bunks, to be used either by guests or crew, making a total accommodation of six guests in three cabins, while the crew quarters allow for a staff of two people aboard this yacht for sale.
The main deck saloon is entered from the centre cockpit and offers comfortable seating for eight guests around the dining table to starboard while the galley and two easy chairs lie to port, along with the navigation station.
Auxiliary power comes from a single 200hp Lugger diesel engine drawing on a total fuel capacity of 2,300 litres. Heartbeat’s vital statistics include a beam of 5.62 metres, a maximum draught of 2.8 metres and a total displacement of 50 tonnes.
Heartbeat was asking €2,450,000.
