The 24.6 metre motor yacht Ajao, listed for sale by John DeCaro at All Ocean Yachts, has been sold to a direct client.
Built in aluminium by Italian yard Baglietto, she was delivered in 1989 and, MCA compliant, has enjoyed a successful charter history. She has accommodation for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite and three twins, all with en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for three crew.
The lounge area of the saloon has L-shaped seating and coffee tables to port, while to starboard are storage lockers and an entertainment centre including a large television screen. Forward is a dinette seating eight guests for casual dining.
The aft deck offers plenty of room for al fresco entertaining and dining, equipped with a fridge and a large dining table with seating for eight guests. Up on the flybridge is a dining area amidships with two seating areas, while aft is the boat deck fitted with a hydraulic crane for launching tenders and toys.
Walkaround decks lead to the foredeck which comes with upholstered seating and large sun pads.
Early in 2016, she had a $300,000 refit which saw her main engines receive a major overhaul while the mechanical and electrical systems were checked and upgraded where necessary. Powered by twin 800hp MAN diesel engines, she has a cruising speed of 16 knots, a range of 2,000 nautical miles and is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
Ajao was asking $549,000.
