The 60-metre Amels motor yacht Moonstone has received a major price drop to her sales listing with Damon Smallwood of Superyacht Sales and Charter. Previously listed for €74,900,000, she is now asking $69,900,000.
Delivered in 2021 from Dutch shipyard Amels, Moonstone is the second unit in the Limited Edition Amels 200 series, her sistership being the 60-metre Stella M, who was also delivered in 2021. According to her brokers, "not a detail was spared in creating the second of the Amels 200"; constructed in steel and aluminium, she was penned by design legend Tim Heywood, with naval architecture by Damen Yachting and an interior design from Luxury Projects.
Accommodation on board is for a party of 12 across six cabins including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, complete with a balcony that opens to starboard and a large bathroom clad in Mongolian marble. Meanwhile, a large VIP suite is positioned on the bridge deck and four guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. There are quarters for a crew of 14.
Moonstone is filled with amenities and features for any occasion. Her sun deck is home to a Jacuzzi, massage room and gym. Meanwhile, the bridge deck – in addition to the impressive VIP suite – offers outdoor dining and a stylish sky lounge.
On the main deck guests will find an inviting main saloon decorated in a warm colour palette of red, grey and cream, with a comfortable circular seating area and a formal dining table towards the aft. The lower deck is another welcoming area, complete with a beach club space with sauna, steam room and lounging area, all of which open to the swim platform aft.
In addition to a hybrid power system, using batteries instead of generators, Moonstone features a WASSP multi-beam sonar system that produces high-resolution bathymetric scanning, mapping out a live 3D view of the ocean floor.
The 1015GT yacht for sale is Lloyd's Register classed and has a range of 4,500 nautical miles at an economical speed of 12 knots. She has a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a top speed of 15.5 knots under twin 1,850hp MTU engines.
Moonstone is currently lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, now asking $69,900,000.
