The 51.7-metre Alloy Yachts sailing yacht Red Dragon  has been sold, with Simon Goldsworthy of Edmiston representing the seller.

Red Dragon was delivered in 2008 by the New Zealand-based shipyard, constructed in aluminium to a design from Dubois Naval Architects. The sloop-rigged sailing yacht underwent a significant refit in 2023, with works including the repainting of the transom, the replacement of all sheets and the main halyard, and the installation of a new aft deck awning.

Red Dragon was last asking €23,900,000

The interior was designed by Wilmotte & Associates and accommodates up to 12 guests, featuring an owner's suite, three double cabins, and one twin cabin, all fitted with en suite bathrooms. Meanwhile, there are quarters for a crew of 10.

Red Dragon’s sundeck is characterised by a substantial al fresco dining area with sun loungers, with the main deck aft also home to an al fresco dining area with additional sofas for relaxation. Her open plan living area provides views towards the stern, in addition to an inside dining area complete with an evening bar.

The sailing yacht sports a seven-metre Castoldi Jet tender alongside Seabobs, water skis, windsurfers, and two Reverso sailing dinghies that can be used with stern’s fold out swimming platform as a launch pad.

The 384GT sloop sailing yacht is powered by one 1400 hp Caterpillar diesel engine with a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,900 miles. The broker noted a special thanks to Captain Shreda and his crew for their assistance during the sale.

Red Dragon was last asking €23,900,000.
