The 55.47 metre motor yacht Madsummer, listed for sale by Moran Yacht & Ship, has been sold in an in-house deal with Brian Moran representing the buyer.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects and Lloyd's classed, she was delivered in 2005 with a refit in 2015, which saw her original RWD interior replaced by a new Laura Sessa décor. Accommodation is for up to ten guests in five cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite situated forward on the main deck with panoramic views, along with two doubles and two twins below, all with individual décor and full en-suite facilities.
Being a state-of-the-art motor yacht she wants for nothing and features a comprehensive range of electronics and entertainment inside and out. Madsummer has fantastic open deck areas, offering excellent outdoor activities — whether for lounging and sunning, entertaining or dining, soaking in the Jacuzzi or messing about on the water with her large collection of water toys.
To that end, she comes complete with two Castoldi jet tenders, two Yamaha Waverunners, two sea kayaks, scuba diving equipment and a Bauer dive compressor with Nitrox system. Twin 1,500hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots and she is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers.
Madsummer was asking $29,950,000.
