Carlo Galeazzi
History
Founded in 1987 by Carlo Galeazzi, superyacht design studio Galeazzi Design quickly picked up contracts covering both yacht exterior styling, general concept, and luxury interior design for the Ipanema series with Cantieri Navali del Golfo. In 1991 Galeazzi began a long-standing collaboration with Baia, and in 1994 added Azimut to its list of prestigious clients. In 2004 Galeazzi reshaped the company and added Francesca Minotti as a partner.
Notable yachts
Having worked on notable production and custom yachts with yards such as Azimut and Baia, Galeazzi Design has an impressive portfolio. The studio also became well known for the distinctive styling of many of the sleek Cantieri di Pisa Akhir models including 36 metre Nena, as well as the 47 metre Project 12.
Specialisations
Responsible for the concept, exterior styling and interior design of numerous semi-custom and custom motor yachts, Galeazzi Design has worked in collaboration with Baia, Azimut, Cantieri di Pisa, Chris-Craft, Gobbi and others. Many of the designs the studio has worked on have won awards including European Yacht of the Year awards, various motor boat of the year awards and other recognition.
