Luxury Italian fashion brand, Stefano Ricci, has launched its first collection of watches called Octagon. The limited-edition collection comprises of three models consisting of a Perpetual Calendar, an Annual Calendar and a Chronograph all set within an octagonal bezel.
There are only 10 of each model available, with the same run of each in a Diamond Lux Limited Edition. Getting your hands on one will be quite the feat.
Each octagonal bezel is set in white gold, measuring 45.5 mm in diameter and 14.8 mm in thickness. The crown has been pressure-closed, with engravings on the edge and finished with a different cabochon on each model: sapphire for the Chronograph, onyx for the Perpetual Calendar and citrine for the Annual Calendar.
Each features a beautiful, hand-stitched crocodile strap with a white gold folding clasp and, most notably a hinged cuvette on the case back with a floral-theme engraved artwork unique to each model.
On the 10 Diamond Lux Limited Edition, Perpetual Calendar watches, the engravings are of different animals in nature. The bezels are set with carefully selected princess cut diamonds amounting to 8.25 carats.
Each model in the collection has a PF 333 calibre self-winding movement with a 50-hour power reserve and they come beautifully presented in a briar-root wood box with blue velvet lining.
Purchasers of these exclusive watches will be subject to the Stefano Ricci after-service care, which, in the case of their watches, means that should a problem arise, a representative will come to the owner to collect the watch (regardless of location), take it for repairs and have it returned with an extended warranty.
