Superyacht itinerary
South-West Italy
Captains Anton Hristov and Erik Jensen of 40.5-metre Cantiere delle Marche yacht Nuri plan a food-centric charter that takes in gastronomic delights from Sicily to Capri.
THE ITINERARY
Lipari
Meet Nuri at the marina in Sicily’s Capo d’Orlando and set off to the island of Lipari, where you can swim the cobalt waters and sample local wine with lunch.
The Aeolian archipelago boasts ancient vineyards and is home to the Tenuta di Castellaro winery and numerous artisanal food shops where Nuri’s chef sources the freshest local produce.
Panarea
In the morning Nuri will make a 10-nautical-mile hop to Panarea, from where guests can take a helicopter tour of the Aeolian islands and Mount Etna.
In the evening, the crew will host a twilight dinner cruise to see the spectacular volcanic eruptions from the island of Stromboli before returning to enjoy Panarea’s nightlife.
Tropea
Awake in the morning at the Calabrian seaside village of Tropea, home to some of the mainland’s most beautiful beaches. Nuri will anchor beneath a 1,000-year-old sanctuary on the clifftop, with spectacular views and dramatic rock formations.
The chef will source fresh fish, nduja sausage and Tropea onions for dinner in the old town, which you can also spend the afternoon exploring.

Maratea
Following an overnight passage 79 nautical miles north, Nuri will arrive at the waterfront harbour of Maratea, a village nestled beneath a huge statue of Christ the Redeemer.
In the morning, take a steep ride on the twisty road to the statue for views back down to the yacht. Spend the afternoon exploring Maratea’s many eateries, artisanal pottery shops and churches.
Amalfi
After another overnight passage, awake near Amalfi, the seaside town that gives this stretch of coast its name. Nuri will anchor in a dramatic natural setting below the steep cliffs.
Following breakfast on board, head to shore and meander around the cobbled streets before the crew show you to a local eatery for lunch. In the afternoon, head to Ravello, famous for its views and terraced gardens, for sundowners.
Positano
In the morning, Nuri will embark on a one-hour cruise to Positano. For hikers (and those not minding the early start) take the Sentiero degli Dei (“Path of the Gods”) and reach the town by foot via a cliffside walk.
Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing dip before lunch and a spot of shoreside shopping in the picturesque village. Finish the afternoon with drinks at Il San Pietro hotel for a spectacular sunset.
Capri
Awake in Capri, to where Nuri has cruised overnight. Head to the town after breakfast and explore the island’s elegant gardens.
For lunch, head to La Fontelina to enjoy fresh seafood while overlooking Nuri in the bay. The chef will arrange a final dinner on board before you depart via helicopter back to the airport.
