Perini Navi is set to return to "full operation" by the end of 2022 following The Italian Sea Group's successful acquisition of the iconic brand.
Speaking to Tuscan newspaper Il Tirreno, the CEO of The Italian Sea Group, Giovanni Costantino, revealed employees had now returned to work at Perini Navi's shipyards in Viareggio and La Spezia. The builder will be back up and running to "full operation", Costantino added.
It comes after The Italian Sea Group completed its acquisition of the bankrupted Perini Navi business and estate last month after entering an €80m bid at the end of 2021.
