2022 superyacht sales down €1.6 billion in comparison to record-breaking 2021

Following an unparalleled 2021, the brokerage market has seen a 20 per cent decrease in the total value of superyachts* sold in 2022, according to BOATPro data. However, this still represented an exceptional year for the market which was 50 per cent up in comparison to 2019 and nearly 80 per cent on 2020 figures.

In 2022, the total asking price of boats sold by brokers was €6.4 billion (€6,379,726,264) against €8 billion (€8,026,069,2330) in 2021, €3.6 billion (€3,569,627,254) in 2020 and €4.2 billion (€4,190,026,867) in 2019.
