The Saudi Arabian port city of Jeddah saw a surge in superyacht activity over this past weekend as the Formula 1 Grand Prix arrived in the Middle East. For the third year running, the race has proven to be a strong driver of land and water traffic as eager race fans are drawn to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit to watch the drivers compete on the world's fastest street track.
The Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina, with its views overlooking the Red Sea, readily welcomed more than 20 superyachts over the race weekend. At the close of the weekend, the marina had reached full occupancy with slips located between the Yacht Club building and the Al-Rahma Mosque.
